Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Format

  • File Type: Submit your manuscript in a standard word processor format. Microsoft Word (.docx or .doc) is preferred; .odt is also acceptable.
  • Font: Use a standard, readable font (e.g., 12pt Times New Roman or Arial).
  • Spacing: Double-space the entire manuscript, including abstract, references, and legends.
  • Margins: Use suitably wide margins (e.g., at least 1 inch or 2.5 cm on all sides).
  • Page & Line Numbers (Recommended): Include page numbers and continuous line numbering for ease of review.

2. Manuscript Structure

Please organize your manuscript in the following order:

  1. Cover Letter* (Mandatory - see details below)
  2. Title Page
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction / Aim & Objective
  6. Materials & Methods
  7. Results
  8. Discussion
  9. Conclusions
  10. Acknowledgments (if applicable)
  11. Conflict of Interest Statement
  12. References
  13. Figure/Table Legends (list legends together)
  14. Figures/Tables (Place figures and tables at the end of the manuscript or embed them near their first mention - check specific journal preferences if available).

3. Section-Specific Requirements

  • Cover Letter (Mandatory):*
    • Must be signed by the corresponding author.
    • Include a declaration of any potential competing interests (or state that none exist).
    • Acknowledge contributions from all authors and confirm their approval for submission.
    • Disclose any funding agencies or grants supporting the research.
  • Title Page: Include:
    • Full article title.
    • Full name(s) of all author(s).
    • Affiliation(s) for each author (Department, Institution, City, Country).
    • Corresponding author's full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Abstract:
    • Maximum 250-300 words.
    • Must concisely summarize the study's Aim, Materials & Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  • Keywords:
    • Provide 5-7 relevant keywords for indexing and discoverability.
  • Figures & Tables:
    • Number sequentially (Figure 1, Table 1).
    • Provide clear, descriptive legends for each.
    • Preferred figure formats: .tif or .jpg (minimum 300 dpi resolution recommended).
  • Acknowledgments:
    • Acknowledge persons providing technical help, support, or non-author contributions.
    • Acknowledge any research grants or funding sources.
  • Conflict of Interest Statement:
    • Explicitly declare any potential conflicts of interest. If none exist, state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

4. Reference Formatting

  • Style: SavisOpen Reverse Chronological (Note: This is an uncommon style. Please follow examples carefully).

  • Author Listing: For references with more than three authors, list the first three followed by "et al."

  • Reference List Order: Arrange entries with the most recent publication listed first (descending chronological order).

  • Examples:

    • Journal Article: Author(s) Last name, Initials (Year). Full title of the article. Journal Name Abbreviation. Volume(Issue): FirstPage-LastPage.

      Example: Miller G, Singh R, Patel K et al. (2023). Advances in Material Science. J Mater Sci. 58(2): 105-117. (Note: Please clarify required Journal Name Abbreviation standard [e.g., ISO4, PubMed] and confirm bracket usage for Volume/Issue).

    • Book: Author(s) Last name, Initials (Year). Full Title of Book. [Edition, if not 1st]. Publisher. Place of Publication.

      Example: Jones P, Davis B (2022). Principles of Modern Chemistry. [2nd ed.]. Academic Press. London.

  • (In-Text Citations): These guidelines do not specify how to cite references within the text (e.g., numbers [1], author-year (Jones, 2022)). Please clarify this requirement.
